At The Bach Academy, our guitar students grow in musical understanding and craftsmanship, discovering the rich tradition of guitar in classical and sacred music as well as in folk and modern styles. We focus on building a solid foundation in technique, tone production, and expressive playing so that the instrument becomes a true voice for the student’s musical imagination. Lessons emphasize healthy posture and hand movement, as well as the study of scales, chords, arpeggios, and repertoire. For young beginners, we use approaches that cultivate listening and singing alongside the instrument, awakening both the ear and the hands. Students are encouraged to participate in ensemble playing and to explore music that both challenges and inspires them.
