Trumpet

Trumpet students at The Bach Academy are invited to develop strength, precision, and beauty of tone in service of expressive music-making. The trumpet’s bright and noble sound has long been a voice for both sacred and celebratory music, and we seek to guide students into that tradition with care and discipline. Our instruction balances fundamental exercises—breathing, embouchure development, and articulation—with thoughtful repertoire choices that grow both skill and musicianship. Students are taught to listen deeply to phrasing, tone color, and dynamics, learning to use the trumpet not only as an instrument of power but also of lyrical expression.
