Trombone

Trombone students at The Bach Academy are guided to develop a resonant tone, accurate intonation, and fluid slide technique. We emphasize the classical tradition of the trombone, cultivating control and expressiveness that can serve in solo, ensemble, and sacred settings. Lessons focus on breathing, posture, and embouchure alongside progressive etudes and repertoire. Students learn to shape phrases with sensitivity and to use the trombone’s unique timbre to convey both power and subtlety in their music-making.
