Oboe

At The Bach Academy, we guide oboe students in developing the rich, penetrating tone that makes the instrument so distinctive. Lessons focus on embouchure, breath management, finger technique, and especially on listening for intonation and timbre—essential skills for the oboist. Because of the oboe’s demands, we approach beginners with patience, encouraging steady progress in reed handling and tone development.
