Katrina Gulliver is piano teacher and church musician living in Orlando, FL. She grew up in a large musical family, and she and her siblings all learned to play the piano, along with other instruments. Katrina took many years of piano and violin lessons. She studied under several different teachers, with varied focuses on classical, folk, and church music. As she frequently played duets and jammed with her siblings, she is comfortable accompanying and playing in group musical settings. She participated in three local non-competitive festivals in high school, where she received superior ratings, and performed in many recitals.
As a young adult, Katrina has served extensively in church music. She has led children’s choirs at her church in Washington and now sings in the vocal choir and participates in the handbell choir at St Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Orlando. She has played violin and piano in church services for many years. Along with several of her siblings, she has recorded hymns to aid church members in learning to sing in parts. She has helped lead hymn sings, select music for services, direct ensembles, and organize music for Christmas and Easter programs.
Katrina studied for two years at Reformation Bible College, where she participated for three semesters in the school choir. She graduated with an Associates of Theology in May, 2025.
Katrina has been teaching piano for seven years. She has experience teaching beginning and intermediate students, both children and adults. She loves teaching and working with children, and she has a heart for raising up young musicians who can serve in church music.
