Emori Sharp is a vocalist, teacher, performer, and a current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in music education at the University of Central Florida. She is originally from Northeast Tennessee, where she received six years of classical piano training under Sandra Allen, and ten years of classical voice training from Brian Sharp at Great Scot Studio. She is now receiving classical voice training under Dr. Jeremy Hunt and piano guidance from Robin Jensen, both at UCF.

Emori has taught private piano and voice for around three years and is currently a member of CNAFME and CACDA. She is a singer in the University Chorus and Chorale at the University of Central Florida currently, but has participated in many other choral programs in her life. Those include East Tennessee Children's Choir and Hylands Youth Ensemble, both of which were under the direction of Jane Morrisson at the Mountain Empire Children's Choir Academy. During this time, she was honored to lead the Acapella Choral Ensemble under the guidance of Jane Morrison. She competed in TMEA's All-East and All-State competition three years and was made a soloist at all six events. At her first All-East event, she was also honored to receive the medal for top soprano score.

She is very passionate about her faith and serving in both her community and her church. She has several years of experience worshiping at various church choirs, student youth bands, and children's choirs. It is her dream to help others and use teaching as a method to lift people up and spread the joy and peace of the Lord.

Emori's favorite method of teaching is the Kodály method, and she thoroughly enjoys bringing a more hands-on approach to learning. She believes in individualizing curriculum to match the needs of every student, while still bringing them through tried-and-true classical literature. She hopes that every student she has the privilege of working with can grow not just in their music and instrument, but in their walk with God, and their self-esteem.
